This is an open question regarding data entry in the Capital Projects system.  If you have implemented GovMax's Capital Projects, which users have access to what functionality?  Do the user Departments enter the text information?  Do the user Departments enter the cost information?  Do the user Departments enter in the appropriation information?

We're looking at fully implementing Capital Projects as part of our move to GM5, and would like to know how others have done so.

Monroe County used the CIP module for the FY07 Budget and are very pleased thus far. Because it was our first year of implementation only budget staff entered data and updated project information. You could set it up so that project managers are inputting narratives and financial information. This seems logical and appears to be how the module is structured, however, we prefer the control's to stay in our office until we are really comfortable with the process.
