About CMPP

The Center for Maximum Public Performance is an interactive discussion, a virtual center of excellence.

The concept for this virtual center of excellence is that there exists within government, a power to collaborate that is currently unstructured. That if this potential could be structured, we would all benefit through the application and enhancement of "evolutionary practices" - sharing in the benefits of evolutionary improvement, and as far as software solutions go for example, often without the associated cost increases of each new "version." Recognizing that we are all too busy to meet regularly and that such meetings when they do occur can be overwhelming, the idea is to create a virtual "think tank(s)" where local government can post evolutionary thinking. The site referenced above will change over time, dropping reference to member organizations and content associated with the member, instead providing a topical repository for material.

Member communities presently include the following cities and counties:

  • Alachua County, Florida
  • Bellevue, Washington
  • Collier County, Florida
  • Homestead, Florida
  • Leon County, Florida
  • Loudoun County, Virginia
  • Martin County, Florida
  • Monroe County, Florida
  • Portsmouth, Virginia
  • Sarasota County, Florida, Clerk of Court
  • Sarasota County, Florida
  • Seminole County, Florida
  • St. Petersburg, Florida
  • Tallahassee, Florida
  • Wayne County, Michigan

The intent of the site is to support efforts of public sector professionals focused on the measurement and improvement of public sector operational and strategic performance.

Sarasota County is pleased to offer the development and continued enhancement of this site.

Please direct any site questions or suggestions for improvement to bhanson@cmpp.net.
